Conspire

This series explores the construction narratives that promote the idea that secretive cabals - often made up of global elites - manipulate your reality to their own ends. Coincidences, arbitrary connections and "hidden signs" are assigned immense significance by those seeking clues to reveal conspiracies, while rationality and scientific method are deliberately questioned or ignored.

"Clues", spurious or otherwise, are scattered through these works, while marks and symbols are highlighted or, alternatively, concealed. Simplified elements drawn from disruptive "dazzle" camouflage compete for space on the canvas, underlining the tension between revelation and concealment, while edges shift from unambiguous, clearly defined borders to porous, ill-defined transitions.
